Privacy

Short version: we keep your email address and your quiz answers, we send you your result, and we only send you updates if you agree to them. We never sell your data.

What we collect

Your email address, when you ask to see your result.
Your quiz answers and the breed we matched you to. The answers are about your home and routine: where you live, how active you are, who else lives with you.
Your choice about updates, and when you made it.

We do not ask for your name, and there is no account or password.

Your answers also travel in the address of your result page, so the link works later and on another device. Anyone you send the link to can see the same result, but nothing in it identifies you.

Why we use it

To send you your result. You asked for it, so we send it. This email is not marketing.

To keep a record of your result. So we can connect a paid report to the result it is based on, and so we can see how the quiz is used and improve it. We do this because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving the service.

To send you occasional updates, if you agree. The box on the form is how you agree. Untick it and you will not get updates; you still get your result either way. Every update has an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw at any time.

Who handles it for us

Resend delivers our emails. Supabase hosts our database. Our hosting provider runs the website and keeps standard server logs. Each processes data only to provide that service to us.

Some of these providers work outside the UK and the EU. Where they do, your data is protected by standard contractual safeguards. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it. If you unsubscribe from updates, we keep a note that you did, so that you are not added again by mistake.

Cookies

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising, and there are no analytics on this site.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or object to how we use it. Email results@shahabhassan.site and we will reply within a month. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
